To celebrate one hundred years of divas, Womanhattan is putting on a show in December: Deconstructing the Diva: silly sketches in postmodern, premillennial divadom. The show is Y2K-compliant and diva-ready. The show stars William J. Divney and Hallie Leighton and features guest appearances by Madonna, Bill Gates, Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, Ms. Pac-Man, the Y2K Bug, a Prince One Day to be Known as The Artist, and many other major divas of the 21st century.
